Cybertrace’s CEO, Dan Halpin, has voiced his concerns about the deep fake’s persuasive nature, which utilizes Forrest’s likeness to offer viewers the so-called “chance of a lifetime.” The video falsely guarantees daily returns ranging from $700 to $2,200, exploiting Forrest’s reputation as one of Australia’s wealthiest entrepreneurs.
